Indian Premier League 2023: Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings, Preview

The Indian Premier League is in half way and every encounter becomes crucial for the playoffs. Both the teams are in the top four still this match is crucial for both the teams to strengthen their place for the playoffs. However, both the teams have shown great form in this season and both batter and bowlers have performed for their respective teams.

RR has started this season on a great note, winning 4 games out of 5 but they have lost back-to-back last two matches and they need to bounce back to strengthen their place. They are playing this match at their home stadium and will try to come back. Jos Buttler and Jayaswal provided them a great start but Buttler got out for a duck on the last ball. However, Devdutt played a very good knock after the early wickets. Captain Sanju Smason, Hetmayer, Dhruv, and every other batter has supported their respective team.

On the other hand, Trent Boult has provided RR a great start but a poor bowling show in the last match cost them the match. Yuzvendra Chahal has been great with his bowling but other bowlers need to support him in the middle phase of the game.

CSK has made a great comeback after a disastrous season previous year and is at top of the table. They have won 5 out of 7 games and come to Jaipur after back-to-back three wins. In their previous match against KKR, runs were flowing.

CSK got a fantastic start from the openers and it was expected from Devon Conway and Gaikwad. But no one was expecting that blitz coming from Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube. Their performance helped CSK to put up a big total.

CSK bowling department looked slightly loose but their batter made the task easy for them with a huge total.
