The spin twins of the Afghanistan cricket team at Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad, have been quite difficult for the opposition teams to handle in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. Rashid and Noor have worked in tandem and have taken 30 wickets between themselves. Although Rashid has been a well-established name in the Indian Premier League, GT captain Hardik Pandya has backed Noor Ahmad, and now this decision by Pandya has been reaping rewards for the defending champions.
In a recent interview, former spinner of the England cricket team, Graeme Swann, made his shocking prediction with regards to the Afghan spin twins. Swann said that "every nation should be jealous that India has so many good wrist spinners in the country. The only nation that shouldn't be jealous is Afghanistan. Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad are possibly the best two bowlers in the world currently. Afghanistan can win the World Cup if they keep going.
